- -No warning lights of any kind currently on. -Stored code in ECM; -P256300 Turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit range/performance. -Followed diagnostic chart for code, verified all parts of electrical circuit are good. Tested for proper voltages and grounds, as well as continuity and resistance of each segment of the circuit. -With the circuits testing properly, it is most likely that the internals of the waste gate actuator solenoid and position sensor are starting to fail and need to be replaced. ***Recommend replacing the Charge Air Pressure Actuator V465 and performing adaptation/relearn of the actuator. ****Note**** While checking pins at PCM, discovered that the PCM was covered in rodent debris and damp at the lowest corner. PCM sit in wiper cowl, directly under washer fluid reservoir.
- -Installed new turbo wastegate actuator, adjusted rod to be with specified values of position. -Cleared engine codes and test drove a few times, EPC warning is gone, no other warning lights, no pending codes.
