- Replaced wastegate actuator. Scanned system for codes and found engine code P0299-21 Boost pressure of turbocharger 1 is too low. The signal amplitude is less than the minimum amplitude/ Turbocharger A underboost condition. Cleared codes and test drove. Vehicle drives great, no warning lights or codes have returned. On test drive, noticed that there is a bearing type noise as speed increases. Brought vehicle back in and found the Left Rear wheel bearing to be noisy. There is no play in the bearing, just getting loud. *Recommend replacing Left Rear wheel bearing.
- Perform Courtesy Inspection of vehicle and list any findings
- Drained and refilled rear differential using Mercedes Hypoid gear oil. Fluid that came out looked normal, no metal found.
- Replaced both rear wheel bearings.
- Rotated and balanced all 4 tires, set pressures.
