Tried to start the car and started to crank then stopped and we lost all electrical power. Upon testing the battery we found the positive cable was not connected. The battery tested okay. Cleaned the positive terminal and attached the cable. The car started and is charging at 14 volts. Car was okay on test drive

-We found that the cat pipe broke at the flex pipe -We also found that the muffler is rusted out and falling apart and that the mid pipe flange was cut off in a previous repair – We recommend replacing your front pipe your mid pipe and your muffler
We cut out the secondary catalytic converter and the old flex pipe We then found a flex pipe we had upstairs and some pipe we had in stock that we used to repair the exhaust We used 2 1/2 inch pipe about a foot and a half of pipe
We cleaned the area with a grinder and used a piece of flat stock steel that we had in shop to make and weld a patch on the subframe

-Car has a lot of smoke when started -Removed PCV hose and found it has a lot of oil sludge in it -Recommend replacing the rear valve cove and PCV valve and hose. Should also check the front valve cover for sludge build up.
