- ECM codes -P0420 Catalyst Efficiency Bank 1. -P0457 EVAP System loose fuel cap. -P0456 EVAP System small leak. -Disconnected EVAP purge valve and checked function, works properly. -Smoked EVAP system and found smoke coming out by canister. -Located ESIM module, disconnected and removed from canister. -Connector has provided ground and reference voltage signals. -Back side of connector on ESIM module is corroded and split, diaphragm inside no longer seals properly. ****Recommend replacing the ESIM module. -Viewed data on scan tool to observe oxygen sensor activity. – Both upstream sensors seems to read properly, constantly switching high to low. -Bank 1 down stream sensor reads improperly, high to low, where it should read a fairly steady value. -Both bank 1 oxygen sensors look to have been replaced recently. -With the downstream sensor reading this way, that is indicating the the bank 1 catalytic converter is beginning to fail. -Both catalytic converters are part of the y-pipe and would require replacement of the complete y-pipe to correct.

- -Scanned all systems, one code present in several systems. -P0031 Oxygen (A/F) sensor heater control circuit low (B1S1) -Checked 15 Amp fuse for circuit, fuse is good. -Monitored live data on scan tool and observed that the voltage does not change with throttle input. -Bank 2 sensor voltage corresponds directly with throttle input. -Visually inspected connector for B1 sensor, no issues or damage found. ***Recommend replacing Bank 1 (Drivers side) upstream air/fuel ratio sensor.
- -Coolant level in expansion tank at minimum line. -Installed pressure tester on expansion tank and set to 15psi. -Cooling system holds pressure for several minutes, no signs of leakage. -Water pump pulley has slight play, no signs of leakage. -Ran vehicle for several minutes, increased RPM's slightly above idle and got plenty of heat coming for vents in cabin. ***Recommend flushing cooling system.
- Replaced drivers side up stream air/fuel ratio sensor.
- Replaced all 8 spark plugs and ignition coil boot end kits.
- Flushed cooling system with BG products.
- Replaced serpentine belt and tensioner assembly.
- Rotated tires and set pressures.
