    • -Turned on air conditioning to find compressor clutch struggling to engage, resulting in a very loud screeching sound. -Moved compressor clutch by hand, does not move smoothly. -Activated air conditioning again and it functioned normally. ***With these findings, it appears as the clutch on the compressor is starting to fail and needs to be replaced. Also recommend replacing the AC belt, tensioner and idler.

    • -Drivers side valve cover, exhaust manifold, turbo, side of engine block and frame rail covered in engine oil. -Cleaned off valve cover and ran engine for a while to check for active leak, nothing current visible. -Unsure if oil was spilled when filling. -Skid tray and underbelly mat totally saturated with oil, drips to ground. -Engine oil pan is saturated, few drips off of some of the bolts. ***At this point, recommend cleaning entire engine area with degreaser to get everything as clean as possible and start fresh to verify and determine oil leaks. Looks like oil may have been spilled on the top side. Also look like lower engine oil pan may be starting to leak. Best to get things clean before condemning anything without certainty.
    • Upon removal of left valve cover, discovered that the tops of the spark plug tubes are scrored with small raised pieces that tore the tube seals on install. While removing intake manifold, found that one bolt would just spin. The brass nut that it threads into has become dislodged/separated from the valve cover. These brass pieces are pressed when manufactured. ***Recommend replacing left valve cover and associated gaskets, thoroughly cleaning the spark plug tubes to free them of any damage and ensure they are smooth so this does not happen again. ***EDIT*** Thorougly cleaned and smoothed out rough/damaged spots on spark plug tubes. Replaced left valve cover assembly. Oil leak on topside of engine is gone, oil no longer getting on exhaust.
